Native of Dallas, Texas, MARC TOUSSAINT purchased his first jazz records at age ten (Mel Torme, Art Tatum and Cannonball Adderly). Some thirty years later, Marc leads the premier vocal jazz/dance combo in North Texas and also performs with his "Little Big Band" at numerous club, social and charity events. Marc Toussaint performs at the finest venues in the area including Beau Nash at the Crescent Court Hotel, Chaparral at the Adams Mark Hotel, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Tower Club, Terrilli's, the Weston Stonebriar Resort and Hotel, Ruggeri's, Ridglea Country Club, Oak Cliff Country Club, Columbian Country Club, El Dorado Country Club and others. Marc has performed for many of the top regional Charity events including the IIDA annual Charity Ball, the Jewell Charity Ball, the Susan G. Koman Foundation and others. THE MARC TOUSSAINT COMBO has recently released it's fourth project at Yorktown Studios in Irving, July of 2004. The other recordings, MORE, OLD DEVIL MOON, and SWINGIN SINGIN' CHRISTMAS, each engineered by multi-grammy winner Phil York, are collections of some of the greatest swing, jazz and dance favorites. OLD DEVIL MOON was included in the 2003 Grammy competition. If you enjoy the smooth smoky croon of the Jazz singers from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, you'll dig the MARC TOUSSAINT COMBO!
