• Do you love a band, but do not want to work with the agency that has them as an exclusive? You don't need to!! Bands are bought and sold everyday. Call your favorite agent, tell them who you want, and they will purchase that particular entertainment from the agency that holds their calendar. Entertainment agencies love to work together in this way!


• You have worked hard to find the right vendors for your event. The room looks perfect, the food is delicious and has a great presentation, the photographer is in place, and the band is playing beautiful music to set the tone --- now it is time to let the party go!!! Trust your vendors to make the party a success by letting them do what they do best. Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy yourself!


• If you want background music at your party and your entertainment is a little too loud for your conversation, ask the group to turn down. Don't wait until after the job to tell them you would have liked less volume. Remember, communication is the key to success!


• When scheduling an outdoor event, always have an indoor back up. It is no fun to be glued to the weather channel 3 days before your party. Decide 24-48 hrs. prior to your event if you will move indoors, and do move if there is any doubt. Keep your stress to a minimum so you can have some fun!
