- Adam Wilmore
Adam Wilmore began his DJ career while in college in 1996 where he entertained friends and family at house parties and weddings. Upon graduation, Adam began a career in radio where he had the opportunity to work for some of the most popular radio stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Adam’s reputation continued to grow over the years and in 2000, he was able to focus solely on his mobile DJ career.
Adam is now known as one of the best DJ’s in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex as well as being on preferred vendors lists across town where he has been told "You are the best DJ we have seen in years!"
Adam realizes the events he DJ’s at are very special to all involved, so he makes sure everyone has an amazing time. He helps prepare for the event and keeps things coordinated as the event progresses. Adam specializes in weddings and corporate functions, but he can entertain even the youngest party-goer.

In 1999 Canta Leader, Lisa released her debut CD entitled “When Two Worlds Collide” with the help of her father Frank Ramirez and Producer Charlie Rodriguez. The debut CD revealed Lisa’s love of all styles of music. She incorporated Country Swing, Tejano and Motown all with a Big Band sound. The CD was well received and played regularly on local radio KICK-FM, KNON and KNTU-in Denton Texas. It was also nominated for Best Latin & Tejano CD at the Dallas Observer Music Awards.

There are always the tried and true Standard Caricatures shown at left. One of the most unique sketches ever is The Original Butt Sketch pictured next to left. Or we now offer the Digital Caricature, (Center Right) which is drawn on an electronic tablet connected to a laptop computer. The drawing is very similar in all ways to the traditional pen and paper except it is projected onto a screen behind the artist and is then printed complete with the guests name printed onto every drawing &/or the host can receive a DVD of all the images! The picture is printed out on an 8x10 glossy or card stock paper with your company logo or event name included. The Fashion Sketch, another new hip type of Sketch drawing with a splash of color or in black and white is a great addition to any event. The Fashion Sketch only takes about three minutes, so many guests will have the opportunity to have their great style captured.

Experience: Ed began his career at Broadway Skateland in 1985. In 1988 he joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he stayed active in entertainment by performing in a band and hosting a nightly news/variety television show on board his ship. She has also appeared on television on many occasions including multiple shows of Goodmorning America and the nationally televised “This Is Garth Brooks! “concert! She has also performed as the voice of Goku and Bou Gohan in the hit TV cartoon series DRAGONBALL and DRAGONBALL Z! She also performs and records with the national award winning polka band Brave Combo! In addition to singing with nearly all of Dallas’ top bands, she has also been chose by the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau to be the lead singer and choreographer of D-TOWN, an acapella quartet that travels the states of Texas and Oklahoma promoting tourism through live performances and marketing! Needless to say, MAXX! is proud to back her on stage anywhere, anytime!
CHRIS RUS : / LEAD VOCALS / LEAD GUITAR . Chris is a founding member of MAXX!, and he arrived In the USA leaving his home in Amsterdam where he spent his younger years playing and recording all over Europe. He has written many original pieces and recorded on European labels. Not only is Cris a formidable vocalist, but he is also a World Class Guitarist who’s sound, precision and lightening speed are nothing short of breathtaking! In addition to his incredible voice and guitar skills, he is also going bald. He has given up attempting to abate his receding hairline in return for a wide screen HD TV and a swimming pool.
JEFF RADANOF : / SOUND TECHNICIAN. Jeff is a founding member of MAXX ! who’s responsibilities include systems set-up and sound operations at all performances. Jeff also performs as the bands’ second percussionist both on and off stage. One of the most distinguishing accomplishments in Jeff’s list of personal musical credits is a brief tenure in apprenticeship as a polka band roadie! He is also the food safety inspector for MAXX!, and tests all food for the band before we eat it…..usually,..this results in a very, very small portion of food left over to be divided among the rest of the band…
GARY POWELL : / LEAD VOCALS / DRUMS. Gary is the founding member of MAXX !. Gary started off playing drums in his high school marching band. Immediately following his very first football game half-time performance in which he had secretly organized the world’s first cheerleader bump & grind field rendition of wipe-out, the band instructor threw him out. He spent most of his teenage years playing in 3 piece hard rock bands at dive clubs in the New England area. He got sick of carrying drum kits one piece at a time into and out of these dives, so he build his current kit on wheels….It’s kinda’ like the mobile home of the drum world if you will….which in drummers circles, pretty much makes him trailer trash..
ADAM BAKER :/ BASS. Adam recently completed a five year tour of duty with the U.S. Navy on a ballistic missile sub and now aspires to catch up on his stage time with MAXX! Adam studied jazz and classical music at UNT and now he commands the bottom end of MAXX! They just don’t get any more solid than Adam!
ALLISON SNYDER / KEYS. Allison is a classical pianist though he performs equally well on organ and electronic keyboards. His musical background reads like the who’s who of the worlds best musicians, and he is no doubt one of them. He studied jazz at UNT, got a BS degree in math at SMU and a Master of Theology as well! This amazing guy can play four separate keyboards at one time but we only let him have 2 cause’ the damn things are heavy. Allison is also the band’s resident conscience.
CHILO MARTINEZ: / LIGHTS & LOGISTICS Chilo is the band’s hardest working member and his ability to get this band set-up and lit-up never fails to amaze us let alone the audience! Chilo handles a fully digital array of 8 robo-scanners, 4 LED floods, 1 Logo Scanner, 1 Follow Spot, 3 Special Effect Machines and an 3 HD Video Cameras all at once and does it in sync. with the band’s music! He is directly responsible for creating the exciting and dynamic light and special effects that make every MAXX! show a DAZZLING HIT! He just recently learned to read English and was quite surprised to learn that there are very helpful directions inside of every box of new gear! Chilo is one of, if indeed not THE MOST talented and energetic up and coming light techs in the Metroplex! His lights & special effects make the show!

- A native of Yokohama, Japan, harpist Naoko Stromberg now maintains an active performing and teaching schedule in the Dallas area. Her professional training began at the Manhattan School of Music, Preparatory Division, followed by three years of study with Ms. Alice Chalifoux at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where she received a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and Piano. She also spent three summers at the Salzedo Harp Colony in Camden, Maine, and two years at the Shepherd School of Music, Rice University, where she obtained a Masters Degree in Harp Performance under the direction of Ms. Paula Page, principle harpist for the Houston Symphony. Miss Stromberg's orchestral experiences have included performances with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, the Houston Ballet, and the Shreveport Symphony. In addition, she was chosen to attend the Roundtop Music Festival during the summer of 1997 and 1998.

Born November 4, Dallas, Texas and surely born to sing. Sandra has been singing as long as she can remember. "I was never prepared for the warm reception of audiences and musicians around the world." Sandra says. In 1986 Sandra was the winner of a singing talent contest at the now defunct West End Cabaret in downtown Dallas. Sandra’s style, is very similar to Dinah Washington and she attributes it to learning by listening for many years. She has a voice that is tailored for jazz and is equally as comfortable with classical, gospel, country, R&B and popular music. For many years Sandra Kaye has been (and to date), the vocalist for the Curtis Bradshaw Big Band which includes an annual concert at the beautiful Mesquite Arts Center Complex. The newest big band venture for Sandra is the newly organized big band of Shelley Carrol and Brad Leali in Dallas. Sandra Kaye makes frequent appearances in the Dallas Fort Worth Metropolis, has performed the National Anthem for the Texas Rangers, is a jingle singer for commercials in television and radio, sings back ground for Johnny Taylor, has opened for Dionne Warwick, David (Fathead) Newman, The Drifters, The Platters, and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Saxophonist, Shelley Carrol hails from family of gospel singers and musicians in Houston, Texas. It was there that the music bug bit him at an early age and landed him in the famed Boys Choir of Houston. After picking up the saxophone, he was able to study with the legendary Texas Tenor greats Arnett Cobb and Don Wilkerson.
While attending the University of North Texas, Shelley earned a spot in the Grammy Nominated One O’clock Lab Band. There he recorded two critically acclaimed CD’s in 1990 & 91. During the same period, Mr. Carrol was invited to join the Duke Ellington Orchestra by trumpeter Barry Lee Hall. He has also recorded and or performed with Maureen McGovern, Tony Bennet, Nancy Wilson, Joe Williams and a host of others.

JD is also a Deputy Sheriff in Dallas where he has worked for 23 years, but he has managed to moonlight as a musician on the side for over 20 years as well! J.D. can also be booked as a Solo & Duo performer with over 500 songs in his repertoire.

- Terry Hankins
- Terry came to Dallas, Texas in 1989 from San Antonio to attend North Texas State University, now UNT. While attending classes, he performed with the One O'Clock Lab Band, The Jazz Singers, NTSU Orchestra, numerous recitals, and countless student performances on and around campus.
After completing his studies, Terry was asked to teach private lessons to students seeking Masters and Undergraduate degrees. He has recently located to Dallas, Texas, and has released a CD of solo guitar music entitled SOLO GUITAR.

The jazz combo isn’t just playing the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli, they’re also playing songs once made popular by Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys. Is this some crazy dream, or perhaps some bizarre parallel universe? Of course not. You’ve just entered the world of the Texas Gypsies. The Texas Gypsies is a 4-piece acoustic combo that combines gypsy jazz with western swing along with our own compositions. We feature two guitars, violin and bass. As an important part of the act, each performer actually works the floor as a waiter for some time before the performance begins. They also dress and act the same as the "real" waiters thus giving no clues of what is about to come. Picture your next corporate, private, or wedding dinner. The evening is running according to plan with the usual mixing and mingling of invited guests and clients. Suddenly, one of the food or beverage waiters bursts into an aria from a well-known opera or song from a popular Broadway musical. Your guests are simultaneously stunned by the waiter's behavior and intrigued by the fact that the waiter sang so well!
As the evening progresses, another waiter affects a similar spontaneous rendition of his own - with matching professional aplomb! At this stage, the collective "audience" realizes that all is not as it seems and they begin to anticipate some progression of the unexpected yet highly enjoyable theatrics...
Just as the two waiters satisfy this anticipation by staging an impromptu vocal "duel", the audience are then further surprised by a "gate crashing" third waiter and the three proceed to "out-do" each other "three tenors" style.

Tommy Evans began his DJ career during college back in 1989. As a member of a business fraternity, he found an opportunity to put his music collection and knowledge to work at a social event, and soon after was asked to perform at more events.

Tori is a recommended DJ for The Dallas World Aquarium and Canyon Creek Country Club, as well as a favorite for reoccurring events such as Y.M.C.A.’s Father/ Daughter dance, Village Country Club’s Easter event, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and many corporate Christmas events.
